For over 3 years, Sofia, the common child of former spouses Maria and Vakhtang, has been living with her mother in Italy. The mother and child have a residence permit in Italy, as well as a healthy environment for life, education and professional development.
The child's father had not previously taken an active part in his daughter's life. In the summer of 2025, the mother brought Sofia to Russia to communicate with her father. Contrary to the interests of the daughter, the father imposed a restriction on the child's exit from the Russian Federation and is trying to take the daughter away from the mother.
