The trial, which lasted almost two years, has ended. Its most important result was the determination of the place of residence of my client’s two minor children with him.
To a greater extent, the court relied on the expert opinion of specialists from the Novosibirsk Institute of Clinical Psychology, who selflessly defended their arguments in cross-examination. Moreover, in the appellate instance, in a parallel process, we overturned the court's decision on alimony, which the mother of the children unfairly collected in her favor, despite the fact that the children had been living with their father all this time. This appeal ruling also formed the basis for the court's decision on the children's place of residence.
The children's mother was not interested in leaving the children at her place of residence. Her defense acted formally, with the aim of influencing, through the children, the final division of the common marital property. This is not reflected in the court decision, but all financial documents, as well as audio and video recordings as evidence of the mother’s dishonest behavior, were available in the case file.
The children now officially live permanently with their father. From the moment the boys moved in with their father, their discipline and school performance improved.
