1. General Principles.Targashov Group provides professional legal services on a fee-for-service basis.
Each case is reviewed individually, taking into account its complexity, scope, jurisdiction, urgency, and strategic importance.
Following the initial consultation and initial assessment, the client is provided with:
- An assessment of the case's prospects;
- An estimated budget for key service delivery stages.
2. Fee Setting Approach.Fees are determined based on:
- The actual time spent by the specialists;
- Agreed hourly rates and/or fixed payment models.
Third-party and associated costs (including government fees, translation, notary fees, courier, and transportation costs) are borne by the client and are not included in the fee.
The minimum fee for services is 1 (one) hour. After the first hour, time is further calculated in 6 (six) minute increments.
3. Fee Structure.Depending on the nature and scope of services provided, the following payment models may be applied.
3.1. Litigation.$520 – participation in one court hearing to represent a client in Russian courts. Court preparation is not included in the price of services and is paid separately.
The rate applies regardless of the length of the court hearing and the scope of procedural actions performed during it.
If the total time of waiting and participation in the court hearing exceeds 5 (five) hours, subsequent time is paid at the legal support rate.
3.2. International Legal Support.$390 per hour of services for cases requiring coordination across multiple jurisdictions, application of international law, and interaction with foreign specialists.
The rate applies, among other things, to the provision of legal services in the following categories of cases:
- International family disputes;
- International child abduction;
- Enforcement and recognition of foreign judgments;
- Development of defense strategies for cross-border disputes;
- Interaction with foreign lawyers, government agencies, and competent authorities;
- Preparation of legal opinions on matters of private international law;
- Other projects involving a foreign element and requiring specialized international legal expertise.
3.3. Legal Support.$290 per hour for services not related to the lawyer's participation in court hearings, including:
- Analysis of the legal situation and development of a strategy;
- Preparation of procedural documents;
- Preparation for court hearings;
- Participation in negotiations and conciliation proceedings;
- Support for enforcement proceedings;
- Other case management activities.
3.4. Legal Consulting.$195 per hour of legal consulting services, including:
- Legal consultations (oral and written);
- Telephone conversations;
- Professional communication with the client;
- Interaction with government agencies, local governments, organizations, and third parties;
- Procedural and technical support (reviewing case materials, preparing copies of documents, arranging for the receipt of procedural materials and court correspondence, as well as other ancillary legal actions);
- Other actions related to consulting the client.
4. Timekeeping.All time is recorded in 6-minute increments.
In certain cases, an initial
introductory consultation of up to 15 minutes may be provided free of charge solely to determine the format of possible cooperation.
Upon the client's request, the firm can provide a breakdown of the actual time spent for individual stages of legal services.
5. Terms of provision of legal services.The timeframe for providing legal services depends on:
- the complexity and structure of the case;
- the procedural positions of the parties;
- the availability of court hearings and procedural deadlines;
- the workload of the firm's specialists.
6. Flexible Fee Structure.Targashov Group helps its clients choose and implement dispute resolution strategies that fit their budgets. Depending on the nature of the legal services, the following may be applied:
- fixed fees for individual stages of work;
- stage payments;
- hourly rates;
- success fees.
The estimated budget provided to the client at the initial stage is an estimate and is subject to adjustment as the scope of services, the complexity of the case, or new circumstances arise. If the expected scope of work changes significantly, the firm will notify the client in advance.
7. Complexity Factors.The following circumstances may be taken into account when determining the fee:
- significant volume of procedural actions;
- lack of established case law;
- cross-border (international) nature of the dispute;
- participation of several parties and other persons in the process;
- need to obtain expert opinions;
- economic nature of the dispute;
- complex financial and settlement structure of the case;
- claim value over 100 million rubles.
8. Final Provisions.The hourly rates stated apply to all legal services provided by Targashov Group, unless otherwise agreed with the client in writing.
The firm reserves the right to adapt the fee structure depending on the specifics, jurisdiction, and strategic objectives of a particular case.
